If there’s one place I can’t resist stopping by when I’m downtown, it’s Eighth Avenue Trattoria, or E.A.T. as the cool kids call it. Nestled right on 525 8 Ave SW, it’s a vibrant spot that echoes the charm of a European street market. The moment you walk in, you can feel the buzz. It’s like a little slice of culinary paradise in Calgary.
Honestly, the selection is pretty sweet. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty pasta dish or a fresh salad from their artisan bar, there’s no way you’d walk out feeling unsatisfied. I’ve often seen folks at the hot food buffet and man, they can whip up an amazing selection daily. They even cater to private events, so you can kick back and let them take care of the food at your gatherings. Nice, right?
Most days, you can snag a quick, delicious lunch. The price might be a tad higher compared to other joints around, but if you ask me, the quality is definitely worth it.
