So, I recently popped into ACE Liquor Discounter at Ottewell Plaza in Edmonton, and I gotta say, it’s a mixed bag. The staff? Generally friendly and knowledgeable, which is a nice touch. Plenty of bright space, and I did appreciate the ample parking. That’s always a win, right?
Now, let’s talk products. They’ve got a decent selection, but if you’re hunting for craft beers, you might feel it’s a bit lacking. Prices can be a tad steep for some wines, but hey, sometimes you just want to grab something without breaking the bank or going to five other stores.
The place is open every day, not bad for those late-night party runs; delivery’s available too! Just make sure you’re ready with your ID, even if you’ve been there a million times. Not sure what’s up with that, but it adds a little… flair to the experience, I guess.
In the end, it’s a solid spot if you need a quick visit, but maybe don’t linger too long unless you want someone peeking over your shoulder! All in all, not a terrible choice for a liquor run.
