Oh man, Sobeys Liquor Hollick Kenyon is pretty much my go-to spot for drinks in Edmonton. It’s located at 5215 167 Ave NW, and I gotta say, every visit feels like a mini adventure. They’ve got this massive selection—think cold beer, fine spirits, and some pretty great wines, too.
You know what’s cool? The staff! Seriously, these folks know their stuff. I’ve had some chats with a couple of women, Nicky and Aleisha, whose smiles are downright contagious. They helped me pick out a local brew on one of my visits, and it was absolutely spot on!
And oh, the place is clean—like, really clean. Everything’s organized, making it super easy to find what you need quickly. Plus, I love earning Airmiles each time.
If you swing by, they’re open late, even on weekends! Accessibility isn’t an afterthought either, with wheelchair-friendly entrances and parking. Just don’t let Jacob answer the phone if you’re calling ahead; he seems a bit prickly. But all in all, it’s a solid spot! Cheers!
