Stumbling upon Sip N' Slice Deli & Cafe in Langley felt like uncovering a hidden treasure. Seriously, I was just charging my EV nearby when Kathleen, one of the staff, mentioned this place. You know, those recommendations that sound too good to be true? This one wasn’t.
As soon as I stepped in, I got cozy vibes. The decor was straightforward, maybe a bit bare, probably thanks to those pesky Covid rules. Still, the atmosphere was warm—sort of like finding your favorite sweater in the back of the closet. And then, oh man, that sandwich! I tried the “Sip and Slice house sandwich”—house-made, local ingredients; it was an explosion of flavor. One bite and I was transported to sandwich heaven.
The locals rave about their sandwiches. I mean, who knew a roast beef sandwich could be that thick and mouthwatering? With meat so fresh, you might wonder if it was just butchered. I’ve heard their pasta and Italian soda options are just as enticing, leaving me curious to try those next time.
