A Mixed Bag at China Garden Restaurant
So, I recently stumbled upon China Garden Restaurant at 566 Adelaide St N in London. With a decent score of 3.3 out of 5 from 169 reviews, it seems like a bit of a mixed bag.
On one hand, you’ve got folks raving about the hot and sour soup and generous portions. One even mentioned that they found it to be their go-to comfort food. Sounds promising, right? Who doesn’t love a big bowl of warm soup on a chilly day?
But then you hear those horror stories—like a pregnant lady getting genuinely sick from an overzealous amount of uncut chili peppers in her Schezuan Chicken. Yikes! Can’t forget about the lukewarm and rather bland chow mein, described as nothing but boiled bean sprouts.
Still, it’s open every day from 4 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. for takeout, delivery, or dine-in if you’re brave enough. And hey, they do have free parking which is a bonus!
If you’re feeling adventurous, maybe give it a shot! Just keep your expectations in check.
