Feedback on JBVC Café (formally known as Cultural Café). (Hospitality and Gastronomy) located in Markham (Ontario)
Description
Oh man, let me tell you about JBVC Café. Tucked inside the 105 Gibson Community Center in Markham, it’s way more than just a café. Seriously, it’s got this heartwarming vibe. You walk in and feel like you’re part of something bigger.
So, what’s cool? This place is run mostly by visually impaired people. Yeah, you heard that right! They’ve created a workspace that’s all about independence and boosting confidence. They serve up tasty snacks, and trust me, that Hong Kong milk tea? Pure magic!
Now, if you’re craving a good meal, their ramen and curry definitely hit the spot, although some folks say the noodles could use a bit of work. But hey, who’s perfect? The atmosphere is comfy and perfect for, like, chilling out after a gym session or catching up with friends.
Oh, and just a heads up—bring cash, and you might have to wiggle through a few screenings when you arrive. But totally worth it, right? Check it out—JBVC Café is open Thursday through Saturday. You won’t regret it!
