Oh man, if you haven’t popped into Bałtyk Bakery yet, what are you even doing? Tucked away at 2395 Cawthra Rd in Mississauga, it’s one of those places you stumble upon and wonder how you ever lived without it.
I’ve been there a couple of times, and let me tell you, the smell hits you like a warm hug. Freshly baked rye bread, sweet pastries, and all the goodies you’d remember from your childhood in Poland. Talk about nostalgia!
The staff? Super friendly! The owner, Nella, is a total sweetheart who genuinely cares about her customers. I once left with a couple of onion buns that were still warm. Like, who does that? It’s the little things, right?
Sure, they’re closed on Mondays, but swing by Tuesday to Saturday and treat yourself. Whether you want to sit and savor or just grab some goodies to go, they’ve got you covered. And can I just say, that cheesecake? Perfection!
