A Hidden Gem: Major Treat Coffee
So, there I was, wandering through Toronto when I stumbled upon Major Treat Coffee. Tucked away at 1158 Queen St W, it’s a quirky little spot that shares its space with a barber shop. Seriously, you could miss it if you’re not paying attention!
Once inside, you’ll find a fresh vibe. The decor is cute, and you can grab artisan coffee that’ll slap your taste buds awake. They’ve got locally roasted beans, mind you, and delicious pastries that make you want to linger, even though it’s mostly a grab-and-go place. I’ve heard the flat white and cold brews are crowd-pleasers!
Now, the barista—oh boy, Campbell! His energy is contagious. A real coffee aficionado making you feel like family. Although it can get a bit crowded, especially for a seat (there’s only a couple), you can’t complain much when the coffee is this good.
Just a heads up, it’s mostly takeout, and seating’s a little limited. But honestly, who needs a comfy chair when you can sip some of the best coffee around while people-watching outside?
Overall, if you’re in the west end and craving a solid cup of joe, Major Treat is def worth a pit stop!
