You know, I stumbled upon this spot called Apex Liquor Store on Victoria Drive in Vancouver, and let me tell ya, it’s got its quirks. It’s right off the busy intersection, so it’s super convenient, especially if you need a quick pick-me-up for the weekend.
The vibe inside is pretty inviting. Bright lights, clean shelves – you can actually see what you’re getting, which is nice. The staff? They’re mostly friendly, ready to help you find that drink you didn’t know you needed. They also have tons of wine specials, and who doesn’t love a good deal on vino?
But, heads up – not everyone’s had the same experience. A couple of folks mentioned some really rude interactions with a particular staff member, which seemed to throw a wrench in the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. It’s like, how can a store be so good yet so bad at the same time?
Still, I’ve seen plenty of positive reviews about great prices, especially on hard liquor. So, maybe give it a shot? Oh, and they’re open late, which is clutch if you’re a night owl. Just be prepared to possibly deal with some character behind the counter! Overall, I’d say it’s worth a visit, but keep your expectations in check.
