Feedback on Moxies Davie Restaurant. (Hospitality and Gastronomy) located in Vancouver (British Columbia)
Description
Ah, Moxies Davie Restaurant, a place that used to buzz with life right on Davie Street. Sadly, the doors closed for good on October 7, 2024. It’s tough to say goodbye to a spot that had been a staple in the Vancouver scene for two decades. I mean, two decades! That’s practically a lifetime.
With a solid 4.6 out of 5 stars from 1,715 reviews, it seems like folks really enjoyed their time there. Who wouldn’t? They had everything from delicious rigatoni to tantalizing calamari (okay, I heard the calamari could be a bit hit or miss). The atmosphere? Always lively and perfect for both a casual dinner or a celebration with friends.
And let’s talk about happy hour. Two for one cocktails, $3 tacos—yup, that was the stuff of dreams! Open until midnight on weekends, I can only imagine the energy on a Saturday night packed with laughter and chatter.
Located in the heart of Davie Village, the restaurant wasn’t just about the food. It was about the experience. Outdoor seating for those sunny days, a good spot for sports lovers, and yeah, they even accommodated families with high chairs and a kids’ menu.
Though they’re permanently closed now, if you’re craving that Moxies vibe, you could hop over to their other location on West Georgia Street. Don’t sleep on that!
So, here’s to all the memories made at Moxies Davie! It’ll be missed, that’s for sure.
