Discovering Carnaval Brazilian BBQ
So, I recently found myself at Carnaval Brazilian BBQ in Winnipeg, and wow, what an experience! Located right on the riverfront at 100-270 Waterfront Dr, it’s hard to miss. I mean, who doesn’t love all-you-can-eat meat served right at your table? Just walking in, the atmosphere is buzzing with excitement.
Now, the first thing that hit me was the variety of meats flying around; it’s practically a meat lover’s paradise! The servers carve various cuts right in front of you. And let me tell ya, some of it was absolutely divine—juicy, well-seasoned, and just the right kind of savory. However, I’ve heard mixed reviews; some folks found certain cuts too salty or even tough. It’s quite the hit-or-miss, I guess?
But hey, it might just be me, but that fixed-price menu means you can keep eating until your heart’s content. I saw so many people chowing down, and I could practically feel their meat sweats from across the room!
The staff? Super friendly! One minute, I was practically a VIP. The next, I could see some tables weren’t getting the attention they needed. I can see how that could be frustrating. Busy nights could easily leave you waiting, especially for sides that seemed to come at a snail’s pace.
And don’t forget the cocktails—they’ve got a great selection. Just be ready for the prices; they can elevate your bill fast.
Planning a visit? You’ll definitely want to make reservations unless you’re cool with a long wait. I mean, nothing like going out for dinner only to be told you can’t sit right away!
All in all, I’m thinking it’s worth a shot if you’re a meat enthusiast. Just bring your appetite and maybe a dash of patience. Will I be back? For the right occasion, absolutely. Just gotta keep those expectations in check!
